I used to make nginx changes while vpn’d into my network and utilizing guacamole (served via said nginx). I’m not a smart man.

What’s the work flow life for CWA? I currently use calibre-web (kobosync) and calibre to organize and polish then drag and drop the epubs to calibre-web. There has to be a better way lol

8·16 days agoI’ve been self hosting for 20 years with the same domain(s) and have never owned a static IP. Use a reliable DNS service with simple update tools (curl on a cron job for example).
The only lesson to be learned from this is disclosure. If AI is so good/bad don’t hide the fact that you are using it. End of story. Let people make their decisions based off that.

1·19 days agoI bought 3 kits of ddr5 last January before i realized the approved vendor list actually mattered for this mobo (I’ve never had this happen before). I was too lazy to return them at the time because you can never have too much memory laying around.
I should do some breaking network changes… While tunneled in.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Built a Spotify to Navidrome playlist Exporter. Meet Navispot 😅English
1·2 months agoTy. I think I’ve pretty much gotten all i need syncd as I’m officially done with Spotify but a cli option is def more efficient for me. If the wife decides to give up Spotify I’ll try it on her playlists as they are far more plentiful. I only used Spotify in the car so only like a dozen or so playlists.
It just works. Home assistant monitors and let’s me know if anything expires but it never has.
This is how i do it. I can delete everything, repull and redeploy like nothing ever happened.
I have one exception and thats my calibre-web container. I have all my books backed up separately and I’ll be nuking that whole set up eventually.

2·3 months agoI had starred it but I just don’t need that much of a stack for music suggestions. Mysql and redis? Just seems like massive overkill.
Sonobarr is ugly but it’s footprint is the same as my fuckin log viewer and it just pulls from lidarr/lastfm/listenbrainz. It’s got an “AI” option disabled by default but i didn’t use that.
Thank you for answering.
